Building from the pattern
- Pick the centre of your build and mark it.
- Start with the widest row through the middle, then work outwards one row at a time.
- Count the blocks in each row from the pattern. Hover or tap a row to see its count.
Odd sizes have a single centre block; even sizes are centred on a corner between four blocks. Odd sizes are usually easier to line up with a doorway or path.
Thick and thin outlines
A thin outline uses one block per step, so blocks on the curve meet only at their corners. It looks smoother and uses fewer blocks. The thick outline fills in those corners so every block touches the next along a face, which looks more solid from the side and is easier to build on.
For domes and spheres, build one circle per layer, shrinking the size as you go up. A tower is the same circle repeated.
