We collect as little as we can to run your server. Here's what that is and what the ads on this site do.

Who we are
Kiphost is run by HEO Systems, which decides how your data is used. You can reach us about anything on this page at the address on the contact page.
What we collect

| Discord account | Your Discord user ID, username and email, when you log in. We don't get your password, servers or messages. |
| Your server | Its name, address, status, how much time it has, when you watched ads, and the files you put on it. |
| Technical logs | IP addresses and request details for the website and for connections to servers, kept to stop abuse and fix problems. |
| Minecraft activity | The server keeps its usual logs and player data, including Minecraft usernames of people who join. These are files on your server, which you control. |
Why we use it
- To log you in and link you to your server.
- To run, wake, move and delete your server.
- To apply the limits fairly, such as one server per person and one ad an hour.
- To stop abuse and keep Kiphost secure.
- To show ads that pay for the service.
Our legal basis is providing the service you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and paid for. For personalised ads, it's your consent where the law requires it.
Cookies
We set one cookie of our own: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. It's needed for the dashboard to work.
This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, measure them, and, if you allow it, personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are asked first, through Google's consent message, and nothing beyond our own session cookie is set until they choose. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Rewarded ads, the ones you watch for more server time, come from an ad network that may also use cookies or device identifiers to show and verify the ad.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. It's shared only with services that help run Kiphost: Discord for logging in, the hosting companies our machines run in, and the ad networks above. We'll share data with the authorities if the law requires it or to deal with serious abuse.
How long we keep it
Your server and its files are deleted 7 days after it expires, or soon after you delete it. Your account details are kept while you use Kiphost so the one-server limit works. Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days. Records of bans may be kept longer to stop people coming back.
Kiphost is an experiment, so data can also be lost before these times. Keep your own copy of anything you care about.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us from the address on your Discord account so we can confirm it's you. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to object to how we use it or complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Kiphost is for people aged 13 and over, the same as Discord. We don't knowingly collect data from younger children. If you think a child under 13 is using Kiphost, contact us and we'll remove the account.
